Psorasis

Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease that has typical patches of raised, red skin with silvery white scales. They are sometimes itchy or sore. Common locations are the elbows, knees, scalp, back, palms and feet, and other areas of the body. Overall, approximately 2‐3% of people worldwide are affected by psoriasis. The primary cause is a problem with the immune system that results in a faster growth rate of the skin cells, and it tends to run in families.
